History:
A Visual Communications program and degree got me started in the graphic design arena back in 2006. I’ve been designing professionally ever since; including working at several agencies including OMAC Advertising in Salem, Oregon, and Every Idea Marketing in Bend, Oregon.
During my agency experience I was quickly used as more than just a graphic designer. Everything from client presentations to campaign development… and lots of copy writing! But I loved it and quickly discovered a talent for more than just graphic design.
As a freelance graphic designer I bring all these creative skills to every project. Plus, I enjoy a range of client involvement that lets me both learn and lead daily. Owning and operating my own business allows me to implement my knowledge and creativity to clients in a highly collaborative, low cost way.
Experience:
I’ve worked on projects big and small for clients of all types. Marketing & Advertising Agencies, Wildfire Mitigation, Manufacturing, Hospital, Event Planning, Equestrian Facilities and Products, Spas, Medical Services and Supplies, Cleaning Services… I’ve had the opportunity to work in all these areas and more. Learning about new businesses and clients is a great part of my job.
My specialty is working in the Food Industry. This focus comes from both my experience in the industry and my absolute LOVE of good food. Since my first graphic design position at the Every Idea Marketing agency I’ve worked with a variety of specialty grocers, gourmet food producers, and CSA delivery services. Through working with these amazing clients I have gained not only a cornucopia of knowledge about the industry, but an unquenchable appetite for what I do.
